Changing costumes in Devil May Cry 5

After finishing the game you will be able to change costumes to your characters.

How to equip costumes

At the Mission Select Screen: Before starting a mission, you'll be prompted to select a costume for the character you'll be playing as.
Nico's Shop: You can also access costume selection through Nico's shop at the mission select screen. This allows you to change costumes before heading into a mission.
Options Menu (for Non-Playable Characters): Alternate costumes for Lady, Trish, and Nico are equipped in the Options menu under Cutscene Customize. This lets you change their appearance in cutscenes.

Unlockable Costumes

EX V: You have to kill bulk demons in the credits scene, and Nico will compliment you. Unlocked by defeating a certain number of enemies in post-Mission 20 credit sequences on any difficulty, both 18 enemies in the Nero's part (18th is Hell Judecca) and 20 enemies in Dante's part (both Dante's and Vergil's kills count) in the main story mode (Nero/Dante/V), or buying it as DLC
EX Vergil: Unlocked by killing the Hell Judecca as Nero in the ending credits and winning against Vergil in the credits on Son of Sparda difficulty or higher or buying it as DLC. Easiest done on Heaven or Hell difficulty.
EX Nero and EX Dante: this are reserved to people who preordered the game but can be bought as DLC
Super Dante, Super Nero and Super V: These are unlocked by completing the game on the Dante Must Die difficulty. They grant unlimited Devil Triggers but reduce your mission score by 80%.

Important notes

Some EX color costumes for Nero and Dante, as well as alternate costumes for Nico, Lady, and Trish, were initially available as pre-order bonuses or through the Deluxe Edition. Some might be available to buy as DLC purchases.

Super costumes provide unlimited Devil Trigger but significantly reduce the end-mission rank.

You cannot change costumes while you are in the middle of a mission. You must do it before starting.
