Grabbing ledges in Tomb Raider Remastered
There are two ways to climb walls up or down, depending on the controls we are using, the classic ones (old style) or the modern ones (new layout of the remaster).
In general it is necessary to use the action button together with the directional buttons, but it also depends on the platform we are playing with.
We can cling to the walls both when we jump and when we go down. Suppose we are on a platform and we have to reach another higher one, in that case we will take a run-up and jump towards the goal, meanwhile pressing the necessary buttons to be able to hang like salami.
We can then go down or up and, in the case of a descent, it can be useful at the end, just before landing, to press the button to roll.
Please note: with the classic controls, we can turn our backs to a ravine, with a wall that slopes downwards, and go backwards by holding down the action key (e.g. CTRL or the left mouse button), while with the modern controls we will have to first hold down the action key and then run towards the void, as if to throw ourselves off, Lara will automatically turn to grab the ledge.
