In Gothic 1 and 2 you can get rid of an item you don't need anymore just by opening your inventory with the TAB key, highlight the item and then press ALT to drop it.
When it reaches the floor you can pick up the item again by pressing CTRL or CTRL + Up Arrow.

You can just use a random nickname, it is usefull to allow me to at least answer your comments. And if you choose to submit your email, you can receive a notification whenever I reply to your comment.
There is even a video showing how it works, so it is working perfectly fine, if it does not work for you I guess you are doing something wrong or you have different hotkeys.
